How do I report an exemption for a student?
When you have determined that a student qualifies for an exemption, please fill in the ERV Student Requirement Exemption Form available to you in the Documents section of your Admin Portal. Both the administrator approving the exemption and the student must sign and date the form. The student can upload the document to their profile which will be processed at their next review.
This form can be used in three different ways:
- The first is when the school is made aware of an extenuating circumstance before the student has booked their ERV Review. In this scenario, the administrator can provide this form to the student, who will upload it to their profile. Our team will provide the exemption(s) outlined in the document during their review.
- The second method is when the student has provided a doctor's note or waiver to a requirement at the time of their review. In this scenario, they will be placed in a Pending Status, and the student will be directed to their placement office. Upon your review with the student, if they are granted the exemption, please ask the student to upload the completed form to their profile and click on “Continue Review” from the Homepage. Our team will be automatically notified, and they will provide the student with an exemption.
- The third is after a student has been reviewed and the school has determined that the student can be exempt for a Failed requirement. Please provide the student with the exemption form and ask the student to book a Follow-Up Review to have their exemption processed.
